James Blake

James Blake is a British electronic composer from London, England.  He attended Goldsmiths University of London, which focuses on teaching and researching creative, cognitive, and cultural disciplines.  From a young age Blake was making music in his bedroom until 2009 when he released his first 12″ vinyl titled, “Air and lack thereof.”  This album was first recognized on a large scale by BBC radio DJ Gilles Peterson, and in 2010 his cover of Fiests, Limit to your love, was recognized by Zane Lowe as his hottest record in the world.  In February of 2011, James Blake released his self titled debut album.
